The mobile frontend for Loula, a financial product for people in Argentina who earn in US dollars and need to manage transfers and currency exchange.
The client
Loula develops financial products for individuals and businesses. Its consumer application serves Argentine professionals and workers with dollar-denominated income.
The challenge
Make account setup, transfers and currency conversion understandable in a mobile experience, while integrating the interface with the backend team’s services.
What we built
The mobile frontend from scratch in React Native, with account, transfer and exchange flows. We also contributed Figma screens and product decisions, including transfer journeys and discount-code experiences.
Architecture & engineering
React Native and TypeScript for the mobile interface, with reusable UI components and API integrations. We worked with Loula’s backend team and contributed endpoints when the frontend required them.
Delivery
Responsibility for the complete mobile frontend, from early experience design to implementation, coordinating with Loula’s backend team.
